Trance Object took place during Primo Lane at Outpost Projects on January 3, 2015.
Trance Object was a site-specific participatory performance that explored how language reflects cultural and subjective experiences. During the performance, I guided each participant in the same light trance which involved a journey through the desert and the encountering of the environment, buildings, and objects. Upon completion of the trance, each participant drew an object they experienced during their trance.
